Each year, CultivHIRE selects one non-profit to and highlight and support through charitable giving. For 2022 we have selected, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This organization is top of mind for CultivHIRE’s founder, Amber Gough, and her family. Amber’s husband Mike was recently diagnosed with MS and their family is dedicated to supporting him through this unpredictable journey and life altering autoimmune disease.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a nonprofit organization that was founded in New York City as the Association for Advancement of Research on Multiple Sclerosis on March 11, 1946, by Sylvia Lawry. With chapters throughout the United States, the organization funds research, advocates for social and political change, provides education, and sponsors services that help people with multiple sclerosis and their families.

As a military spouse, Amber is also actively involved in serving the veteran and military family community through volunteering with such organizations as, The Rosie Network, SDMAC, Fleet Week San Diego, NSW Sisterhood, and The Honor Foundation. Amber has always been driven by a higher purpose of connecting and serving others in her personal and professional life.
